London based artist Imanni Da Silva is one of the prominent names of the contemporary art
market in Angola. Born in 1981 in Luanda – Angola, Imanni Da Silva has being influenced by the feminine, delicate, elegant and colourful world that surrounds her. She started her studies at the age of 16 at the institute of arts of Luanda where she have learned the exquisite craftsmanship in
textiles, engraving and painting .
At the age of 21 the passion for fashion spoke louder and at the London Central Saint martins
college of art and design new knowledge was gained in accessories and textiles design, which
allowed the marriage between art and couture. With a career of 10 years has many group exhibitions in her curriculum in Luanda and London, having taken part in international art projects such as Angola National Culture Festival street wall in 2014, Street art “ArtContainer”. In Luanda in 2015, the Italian art catalogue IMAGO MUNDI in 2016 and the Breast Cancer awareness women exhibition “ARTE AO PEITO” in 2021.
